Subtitles Tips

Being an avid frequent downloader (theft)of DVDrip movies from torrents portal like http://www.piratebay.org et al, I'd like to share some of my experience with my fellow bloggers on how to watch movies with subtiles for Divx movies and the like.
Although many downloadable movies whether torrent or from sites like rapidshare, com, megaupload.com provided subtitles, there are some where you its missing. Since, I am that type of person who wanna comprehend 100% of the story behind the movie its essential for me to view them in subtitle. Though, I can make out most of the spoken likes, I prefer watching with the subtitles.

Following are the tips which I found over the internet:
Step 1: First of all download a subtitle program called VS Filter (VobSub )from here or just search it in google.
Step 2: Install that software.
Step 3: Now, go to google.com and search for the subtitle text file. Use the keyword like movie name + subtitles (You will find it easily)
Step 4: Copy that subtitle file in your movie folder and rename it with the name of the movie(Eg: If your movie name is avatar.avi, rename your subtitle file with avatar.srt) Remember the most important thing is the movie name should be same with the subtitle name. There should be difference only in the extension i.e .avi and .srt
Step 5: Job done. Open your movie and you can watch with the subtitles flowing smoothly all the way.

Note: Though this is a good gimmick, yet sometimes you may find mismatch subtitles. That is, the timing of the movie and the subtitle may not be in a harmony. I've also another suggestion for such issues, but for now, I'll finish here. I'll try to post the solutions for such issues in my subsequent blog.
