Caught in The Act

No...don't get me wrong. I ain't blabbing about these..nor am I trying to show off. A week earlier on Sunday night..i.e 7th of Dec. 08', something had happened. Its no use concealing the facts..so let gets it straight.. Well, among my fellow Mizo folks..its in our tradition to visit our chicks at nightime in their own home. And it came to pass, that on this particular evening..I visited one of the many homes in my hometown which I frequently visited. Time goes on and I couldn't recollect the exact hour..when I was holding her with, not only my arms but with my hands..nothing more nothing less..And then Lo and behold...a third person intervene in our tete a tete...
Mother India..whatever jerked off from nowhere...infuriated. jealous??? angry..(Pardon! I couldn't pick out the appropriate adjective)..She then sat down right between us..not losing her sight from My sweetie even for a sec. Oh! words escape my tongue that moment...A few minutes later..I decided it was even inappropriate for me to be with 'em..So relcutantly I took my leave.
Now here come my point. When will the so called 'grown ups' understand a healthy relationship happening in their offspring? What exactly did that missus dislike in our action? Did we have sex? No. Did we have orgy? No. Did we booze? No. Did we commit adultery, murder, theft etc etc??? A nig NO. So as it was written in the book of Exodus, we were, for a moment, blameless in HIS sight. But it was otherwise for my would be Mother in law.
I am sure most of the other guys in the blogosphere might have experinced this kinda' situation one way or the other. Can anyone of you share the aftermath? To be honest..it was my first time...so I am really in a jam as to do what's next?
Is there any possible way to convince our over-conservative attitude in our state? Why do parents always bitch about these little things? Is fondling or kissing a sin? Was it written on the good Book? If its not so..then heaven help me cos am gonna go insane..if life goes on linke this..

Death Magnetic review

The ninth studio album from the gods of erstwhile Thrash Speed Metal lord is their fifth #1 album on both sides of the Atlantic. Hell, this guys had started their music way back before I was ever born and now look at 'em; they're almost in their fifties yet the song remain the same. I had my first experience with Metallics's riffs and solos in the early nineties when my old man gifted me the self titled album aka Black Album. Since then there was no coming back. I eat, drink, sleep and worship the gods till date.
Before moving into the current groove, let me scrutinize their old music. These bay area thrasher first album, Kill 'em All was a classic, if you name tracks like 'Whiplash', The Four Horseman, Seek and Destroy etc. But till today, my #1 track from these Frisco's metaller will be Master of Puppets from their third album of the same. As we are all aware tragedy struck the gods when they met an accident in 1986 killing their original bassist Cliff Burton; but nonetheless, the band struggled on to released their next album And Justice For All with Jason Newsted on the four strings. It was somewhat dismal for MTV leading them to lose the prestigious award for Best Heavy Metal category although riffs like One, And Justice For All were all classic.

But the greatest ever achievement for any heavy metal outfit came out in the mid 1991 when Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammet and Newsted released The Black Album which went on to sell a whooping 17 million albums, a feat no other metal band had ever done. On top of that, the album was in the Billboard charts for over a year. However, nothing last forever, yes the band lose their fans and music when they released Load (96) and Reload (97). These two ablums were purely disappointing as the garage boys discard the fast pacing hard rock act to a bluesy grunge influenced rock. For once, I was personally trashing away their records. The next two albums, Garage Inc I & II were full of covers (the word covers itself sucks for a rock band)
As stated before nothing last forever which lead us to the departure of the bassman Newsted after fourteen years with the Bay Area Thrasher to go solo project. The space was slowly filled up by Ozzy's bassist Robert Trujillo who recorded with the band, the album St. Anger (2003). Though the sounds were a bit lively, it couldn't match the Metallica which every fan would expect.

Come 2008, after 23 years, Metallica are really back to real business. Although, it would be a little exaggerating but its true, this ninth album is no more less in comparision with the third (Master of Puppets). Check out their first single, The Day That Never Comes; I am frenzied by the harmonic riffs which went through and through. The Intro was awesome. A slow plucking from James followed and in harmony with Hammets' into. Sure it sounded a little ballad in the beginning but was elevated to a full crescendo later on. James is back to his twenties in vibrating his vocal cords and Lars on tubthumping the snares and kicks. Here we've seen the act greater than Newsted or even Burton (God bless his soul) from the former Osbourne's. I used to get disappointed while Newsted was in the band as I could never hear cool riffs from him. His sound were always fuzzy and faint.

The opening track That was Just Your Life reminds me of Battery, Master of Puppets or Creeping Death. A speeding metal of thundering riffs and blistering solos.
Another cool part in this album, was the third installment of Unforgiven aka Unforgiven III. The bass riffs and six strings plucking surpass the predecessors . soft but nonetheless hard eventually. The kickass flangered guiter work in the intro of All Nightmare Long is really mindblowing. But the best part come when the tune was shifted to the thick and signatured licks from the Distortion sound of Hammet coupled with the rolls of Ulrich.

Well, lets me conclude by stating that, to listen to this album is something like being fasting for 23 days and having a real heavy meal on the 24th day...

What is Love???

Through ages till eternity..there has been an endless description and explanation for this four lettered word (noun, verb, adjective etc etc. not the one which most ppl would expect)
I am not trying to give one satisfactory or adequate meaning of this word which drive men crazy or sane.. Whatever from my own experience I would like to share some qualities and characteristics of this powerful and captivating word.
First of all, let me put it clearly that I am not a philosopher nor a student in literature; well quite on the contrary I am a technical geek..So my ideology and views are based on my field though I have a cool interest in theology which one might find it quite close to philosophy. :)
Love!! Well depending on the person whom you ask it might differ in its meaning, but then for a start let me phrase it this way..
Originally there are four kinds of love or to be more precise four ways in which love can be expressed:
1. Love of God: The Greeks called it Agape, and fortunately this is the only real love that exists practically. Well, the love of God is unconditional and cannot perish. Its the only love that sets us free from all sins and wrongdoings. He loves us so much that He gave up his own life for us to be free and have eternal life.. However, though I'm a keen believer, I'd like to share some of my misunderstandings. If God's love is unconditional and everlasting, then why did he create Hell in the first place? If we go into the deep meaning of Hell(call it Hades, Gehenneh, its all the same) its a place of never ending torture for the wicked and the sinful, like the citizen of Sodom & Gomorrah??
Maybe I do not understand the eternal purpose of the Almighty, yet thinking in a human way, I do not see so great and colorful in God's love so long as the Lake of Fire exists. To, me unconditional and everlasting love should not contain punishment at all.

2. Love between the sexes: Called as Eros in Greek, its the love that exists between a man and a woman. Perhaps this is one of the most common form which most people of my age group might experienced. How do you define Eros? Well, its a natural tendency for every man or woman to have a longing and care for the opposite sex. Honestly, I do not believe in 'Love at First Sight' (maybe because I haven't experienced that yet) but I do believe in Lust at First Sight. Well, the most obvious reason for love between the opposite sex in the first place is lust. However, if that lust is in a controlled and maintained well, then it usually developed into love. the real one. Sometime, it may be due to wealth and high regards for the personality of the one whom you adored. Nevertheless, eros in any case are, most of the times short lived if not maintained properly.
3. Love from parents to their offspring : I really cannot understand this love which I get without any demand at all. Maybe I am unable to understand it as I still do not have any child at all of my own. Yes, every mommas and papas loved their kids just the way they are and never grumble over their deeds. Even, if the child is that bad and evil, yet the parents always tried to overlooks the shortcomings and misdeeds. Why?? I am still unable to understand this one, and really bedazzled. So is this the real true love?

4. Love between friends: In many legends, folklore and even real life history there are circumstances when a friend gave up his life for another friend. Well, this kind of love is really touching and personally in my opinion love that requires losing one life is the real love. However, this kind of love exists only between true friends and not to all, so I will stop here.

Whatever may be the form of love, to sum up, love is a feeling that makes you give the most precious belonging in your life, your very own life.
Yes, God's love is so much that he gave up his own life. If a man truly loves a woman, he should be able to lose his own life to safe the life of his love, so are the parents and between friends.
Coming back to unconditional love!!
To say the truth..practically, in real life..this does not exist at all, be it God, spouse, friends or parents. However common the word may be, so far I have not come across this one. One way or the other, love always have a demand in return. God's love demand us to love Him back, so is between the sexes, parents and friends.

Non Vegetarianism

No, I am not trying to contradict the beliefs and ideas of the Father of The Nation...thats too in the 61st anniversary of his triumphant day. I'm just here to express my views and beliefs regarding my faith in non-vegetarianism. To be honest and to be particular, I would like to share my eating of the canine breed.
For argument sake, let me start from the common non-veg menu. Why being a vegetarian anyway in the first place? Being a Christian, there are no fundas against eating meat with a little exception(which I will come later on). Although there are some vegetarian and teetotaler like Beltesazzar, Abednego etc in the Old Testament times. As far as my insights are concern, the root of vegetarianism is the Hindu philosophy with a liitle variation among the Jains. Why? During my heydays in our college, i used to question my fellow students regarding this strict fundas against eating animals. One very logical(which i found illogical) reply was that, "We cannot eat animals, because they have soul(life) and they feel pain. But animals can eat other animals."
Oh c'mon look at these times, we had a breakthrough in biological science even during the time of Aristotle (circa 300BC) who stated that Plants have life and they have irratibility too. If you had touched a Touch-me-not plant, I m sure you can understand the feeling of plants. If so, then accroding to the Hindu's philosophy, we are not allowed to eat even plants, as they have life as well as iiratibility. Weird???? Then What are we supposed to eat? Pure Inorganic substances like Iron, Steel, gold, sodium etc etc? Now is that practically possible? We (human) are organic substances and our foods are also bound to be organic. I guess thats answer my faith in being a non-vegetarian in the first place

Secondlly, eat meat not pets. Now, I must consult the good book regaring the fundas of eating animals. Referring the book of Leviticus Chapter 11:3
" 'There are some that only chew the cud or only have a divided hoof, but you must not eat them. The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is ceremonially unclean for you. ⁵ The hyrax, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you. ⁶ The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you. ⁷ And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. ⁸ You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.

Going through these standars yes canine family are unclean for God Chosen people. But this was the era of the Laws and not Grace. Here..salvation is attained only by pure obedience to the law, and repenting for every single sin.
However, after the resurrection of Christ, we are no longer bounded by the law Rom 6:14.
" For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace."
Furthermore
²⁵ Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, ²⁶ for, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it." I Cor 10: 25

So as far as canine or primate is concerned, being a Christian I believe God do not banned me from eating et al.

Looking in another angle, as a PETA activist, why eat only vegetables? Why canine? Cause its a pet? Now how do you define pet? What about Singularis Porcus? According to recent scientifc studies the boar family are much more intelligent than the canine. Read stories like Animal Farm, Babe etc. Some people even keep them as pet. Since its not our custom to keep pig as pet, then is it right to eat them? What about eating wolf? It is canine but not a pet.
Well, as far as I am concerned, i know the Kingdom of heaven is not about eating and drinking but the love of god...

Why being tortured here on earth ???
Abstaining from a particular food will not lead you to salvation but HIS GRACE

Sexual Discrimination

God created Eve from Adam's rib and till date I haven't come across a girl who thank me for that. As if the rib itself was too heavy for them to carry or of no use to them at all.
From time immemorial till date the war between the sexes endures which will continue so, if there is no change. History and folktales alike; I m sure all of us are familiar with A knight fighting against the dragon to save a damsel, or heroes died to save the fairer sex in most events. Even in the Indian myth, what was the real cause of the Ramayana epic? Was it Rama? Nope it was Sati...Again in our Mizo history..what causes the war between the east and the west (Chhak leh Thlang Indo) I m sure it was due to the issue over that bride which was taken over by the west later. Why is it always happening like this? Ever heard of a maiden fighting to save Prince Charming? I don't think even if that happens it will be more than a handful. What was Job's wife telling, when poor Job suffered like hell? She told him to curse the Almighty.. Huh????

In the postmodern era..look at what's happening? We give them seat in buses, let them out of the Titanic first, treat them absolutely free for dinner etc etc...and look what do they give us back in return???

"WE WANT WOMEN LIBERATION, WE WANT WOMEN LIBERATION"

Now, what else do they expect us to give them....We give them everything of what we have(sometime even our life) yet they are shouting for more!!!!

This is too much....Even in our own state I have heard once that the MHIP demands a special women seat in the legislative assembly or something like that...
What is equality anyway? If there's equality then I suppose there are no reserved seat for no one. I hope you got the picture. If a woman have a reserved seat..than doesn't that mean Men are suppressed? If there is REAL equality then there should be no reservation. Correct me if I am wrong...

Look at the statistics. Majority of the government employees of our state are women..so are the passed out students from colleges and high schools..What more do they demand??

Well, I think..I will quit for the time being....and continue later....

Lastly...it was Eve who ate the Forbidden Fruit in the first place. :P:P

Predestination vs Freewill

Have you ever wondered if the life you led was already programmed by someone all-powerful? Did you ever wondered that your future is written? Or do you really have a choice? What is choice anyway? Is the person with whom you are going to marry already known by One?
Let me quote an extract from a parody.

During a debate between the believer of Predestination and Freewill, a third party person went to the predestination group. When he was asked the reason for his coming, he replied "I come on my freewill." The group then told him, that he cannot come on his freewill. When he went to the second group, he gave the answer "I was sent by another group." To which come the reply, "No, you cannot come, you have to come on your freewill." Now the this guy is quite in a dilemma.

I have this confusion after watching the blockbuster movies "The Matrix Trilogy" (10 - 15 times)
Though the hero 'Neo' doesn't believe in 'fate crap' and only in his choice, but did that really matter when he meets the Oracle? If the Oracle knew what Neo is going to decide, then where is Neo's choice or freewill?

Now consider one scenario. A certain person died due to an accident. Now is the death caused by God or him? Did God determine the timing of his death? Or if he had been careful, could he avoid that death? For the sake of argument, is there anything like accident or is everything planned?

Did God determine everything happening on earth? Who will be your spouse? Who will be the new government and the minister et al? Did He determine the result of battle and wars? If so, then where is your freewill?

As a Christian, I will point out many reference from the scripture regarding this idea. For a start,
"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight." Eph 1:4.

Now, how do you explain this statement? Did God chose us even before the creation of the Heaven and Earth?????
Where is freewill? Did Adam and Eve really got a choice to do the right thing i.e not to eat the forbidden fruit? Or was they control(programmed) to sin?
Take the case of Judas. Did Judas has a choice to do the right thing? Or was he programmed? Jesus clearly stated that he was to be betrayed.
"²⁴ The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born." Matt 26:24.
How will you explain the last sentence? Is Judas capable of not being born??
Another very good reason for predestination is found in the epistle of Paul to the Romans which reads
"Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' " ^{[h] 21} Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for disposal of refuse?" Rom: 9 : 20

So, are we mere puppets whose strings are controlled by God?

Let me add one more popular verse, "But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said. "
So it was all God's play in case of Ramseses II and Moses. Right?

Then, if everything is programmed and planned all along, then why don't we just sit and enjoy the ride?
"Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this: Psalm 37

Wow, do I need not do nothing???


I am not going to explain my beliefs here. In fact I do not know what to believe. So if there's anyone out there who could shed some light, I 'd really appreciate that.
